Jesus...

He came.
He died.
He rose.
I believe.

       ...do you?

He came one starry night in Bethlehem. He came to live among us, so He could experience life as we know it. He could have stayed in heaven, but God sent Him down. He sent Him as a baby, born of a virgin, in a stable. No royal accommodations. He would sleep in a manger. As He grew, He grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. At age thirty-three, He would fulfill His destiny. He was born to die... to pay the penalty for your sins and mine. He didn't deserve it. He had lived a perfect life. He was willing to die because great was His love for us. He would be buried in a tomb, but not for long. Three days later He rose from the dead. He conquered death on the cross. He gained the victory so that I might live forever with Him, pardoned from my sin, because I chose to believe. He did the same for you.

On this, the eve of His birth, do you believe? Are you willing to trust Him with your life? Talk to Him in prayer. Tell Him that you believe. You believe He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, died a cruel death on a cross, and rose again three days later, that you might live. When you trust Him and commit your life to Him, He is faithful to pardon your sin and give you best gift of all... eternal life in heaven with Him. He's offering the gift, no strings attached. Will you receive it?
